Owner and therapistI am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner and therapist at MVP Counseling. Prior to starting MVP Couseling in December of 2023, I was the lead counselor at Hill Country Counseling. I have been an LPC since 2013. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s from St. Edwards University. My previous employments include Outpatient Substance Use rehab centers and crisis counseling after the Bastrop wildfires in 2011. I use interpersonal, Cognitive-Behavioral and acceptance-commitment modalities of therapy. I currently counsel those with severe and chronic mental illness including depression, anxiety and more. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching reality TV, my favorite author in Stephen King, and part of my self-care is enjoying facials, massages, and playing with my dog Oreo.
